Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American artist, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. His stage name is the combined name of a favorite uncle who has the first name and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, along with a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint record agreement with Epic Records and T.I. He has signed with Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. The mixtape was later followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the debut studio album. The hit single "Antidote" was the album's lead track. His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. The next year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the name group Huncho Jack.In 2018, his third studio album, Astroworld, was released to great acclaim. It also featured his debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's album JackBoys was released late in 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. After the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott was the first performer on The Hot 100 to have three songs make it to the top of the charts within the span of a year.
