Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress as well as a comedian and activist. She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actress. In AT&T commercials she played the character of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 to 2016 and then in the year 2020. She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Also, she was regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot television series for New Warriors. Vayntrub, a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. At the age of two, she and her parents immigrated to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. At the age of five she started appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly, but she quit in her second year. She then obtained a GED, and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
